ST. PAUL’S EPISCOPAL CHURCH
DISASTER RECOVERY 2006
VOLUNTEER POLICY
The church and school community of St. Paul’s
welcomes all in our effort to rebuild and renew in the aftermath
of the Katrina flood. Our immediate needs are financial, but we
understand the strong desire to come to New Orleans and “roll
up your sleeves.” Because of our concern for your welfare
and with a view towards honoring your time and talents, we are
grateful for the general volunteer guidelines established by the
Diocese of Louisiana and published on the diocesan website, www.edola.org.
-
Persons over 18 years should download the
forms from the above website. (See Office of Disaster Response
links on the right and click on Volunteer Resources.)
Please complete and forward these to our parish volunteer
coordinator, Natalie James (see below.)
-
Volunteers younger than 18 years can do much to rebuild
St. Paul’s by having fundraisers within their own parishes
and communities. If preferred, gifts received can be designated
in any way as our needs are endless. Our mailing address for
financial aid is:
St. Paul’s Episcopal Church Restoration
Fund

Matt 25: 34-36…“Come, O blessed
of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you…; for
I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave
me drink, I was a stranger, and you welcomed me, I was naked and
you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me…”
